The University of New Haven (UNH) of West Haven, Connecticut, and CEA Study Abroad have partnered to promote comprehensive academic programs in both Florence and Rome, Italy. Through this agreement, UNH will act as the official University of Record for CEA. Academic decisions made in the field are in accordance with pre-established criteria for minimal standards set by UNH. The decisions made according to these standards are subject to timely assessment by the University of New Haven, based upon accepted reporting criteria between UNH and CEA.
The UNH program at the CEA Florence Study Center, designed with today’s millennial student in mind, features academics which are professionally focused and centered on intercultural competency, immersion and international connection all while providing active learning through hands-on activities.
Courses are offered in subject areas such as Italian language, art history, business, cultural studies, history, literature, sociology and studio arts. Multiple sessions are offered throughout the academic year and summer.
