Spring and Fall semesters
The Program offers courses in English in Retail Merchandising, Modern Consumerism, Entrepreneurship, Art History, Literature, Intensive and Creative Writing, Drawing, Photography, Cross-cultural Psychology, and Food Culture. It includes Italian language courses at the elementary, intermediate and advanced levels. Internship placements paired with an Internship course are available for academic credit. As part of the Program, students participate in a week-long study tour in Syracuse, Sicily.
All classes use an experiential approach and have the city of Florence and its surrounding territory as focus. Students stay in apartments close to the city center or in home-stay accommodations. They are involved in all cultural and social activities organized at the ACCENT Florence Study Center.
