Spring and Fall semesters
The Program offers courses in English in a variety of disciplines, such as Art History, Literature, Bookmaking, Drawing, Retail Merchandising, Consumerism, Photography, Entrepreneurship, Cross-cultural Psychology and includes the study of Italian language at all levels. Internships in a variety of fields are available for academic credit in conjunction with an Internship course. All classes use an experiential approach and have the city of Florence and its surrounding territory as focus. Students stay in apartments in or close to the city center or can opt for the home-stay solution. They are involved in all cultural and social activities organized at the ACCENT Florence Study Center. As part of the Program, students participate in a week-long study tour in Taormina, Sicily.
