Spring and Fall semesters
Art & Design Program:
Students enrol in art studios (Drawing, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Graphic Design, and Interior Design) with students from around the US at the SACI campus in central Florence.
Students also take an Italian language course, to better facilitate their integration into life in Florence, and have the option to take elective courses in History of Design in Italy or other subjects among a selection of those offered in the Study & Intern program. All courses incorporate excursions and local study tours around Florence to engage students with the local culture.
Study & Intern Program:
Students study Italian language while also taking courses taught in English in a variety of fields. They will be able to satisfy liberal education requirements and have the opportunity to gain professional experience through an internship with a Florentine company.
All courses incorporate excursions and local study tours around Florence to engage students with the local culture.
A one-week study tour to the coastal town of Siracusa in Sicily, a city rich in ancient history, is incorporated into the program. While in Sicily, students take Italian language classes and attend guest lectures and visits related to their semester courses in Florence.
